Prior to the actual installation, we will visit
your location to conduct a site survey to be sure your residence
is in our service area, check for minimum computer requirements,
and outline the details of installation.
Minimum computer requirements:
- Network card (If you do not have one, you can either purchase
one on your own, or purchase one from NRVU at the time of installation.)
- A FREE wireless router will be provided for you at the time
of installation or you may provide your own.
Equipment we will provide:
- Receiver can be mounted anywhere there is clear line-of-sight
to the NRVU Access Point. Typical locations are on the roof (see
picture) or on a pole near the house within 300 feet (cable would
be run from the remote location back to the house).
This receiver remains the property of NRVU and will need to be
returned should you decide to discontinue the service.
